Sullivan County Fire Department

S.C.V.F.D is located in northeast Tennessee.We respond to the areas in and around Blountville Our district is about 70 square miles and covers 7 miles of Interstate 81. Our station is located on Blountville Boulevard next to the county library. We operate 5 trucks operating out of our primary station. We are currentley in the process of converting our trucks from red to yellow. We are a 100 % volunteer department.Our equipment, trucks and training are provided by donations, grants and county funding. The department also operates a fire education program that visits every school and daycare in our area.
